1. Scope of service

TVMG produces professionally narrated and animated training, induction and explainer video content, together with related learning materials. Our service does not include live-action filming or on-location production of any kind. Any request falling outside narrated and animated training content and related materials will be declined or quoted separately as a distinct engagement.

2. Free demos

Before you commit, TVMG offers free demos. A demo is a short sample clip (roughly 30 seconds) produced from a small portion of your own curriculum or brief, so you can judge our voice, animation and quality on your actual content. You may request as many of these short demos as you like, at no charge.

A free demo is not a full module and is not a complete piece of learning content. It is a preview only. Production of full-length modules, complete videos, and any deliverable of full module length is part of the paid engagement and is never provided free of charge. “Unlimited” refers solely to these short demo clips, not to full modules or finished deliverables.

3. Client-supplied content

The client provides all source content via the brief, including text, data, structure, curriculum documents, and any logos or images to be featured. The client is solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and completeness of all supplied content. TVMG produces the content based on the material as supplied and is not responsible for verifying its factual accuracy.

4. Learning material & alignment

Where TVMG develops learning materials or module content, those materials are developed in alignment with the client's specified registered curriculum document and are delivered with an alignment matrix per module. The client's registered assessors and/or moderators are responsible for reviewing and approving each module.

For The Digital Campus, TVMG provides unlimited revisions within the agreed scope for each module throughout that review process. The agreed scope, fixed at the scoping stage and confirmed by the client, defines the boundary of the work; any work beyond the agreed scope is quoted separately as new scope. Production of a module (animation, narration and build) begins only after the client's registered moderator or assessor has signed off that module's script, and after the batch deposit has been received (see clause 10). A module is treated as delivered only once the client's registered assessors approve it.

The client remains solely responsible for all accreditation submissions and for accreditation outcomes. TVMG develops content in alignment with the client's registered curriculum and revises it until the client's own assessors approve; TVMG does not submit for accreditation and makes no representation or warranty as to accreditation, moderation, or audit results. (Standalone videos retain the three-revision policy set out below.)

5. Digital delivery & regulatory compliance

TVMG produces digital learning material (including narrated and animated video modules, quizzes and related content) for deployment on the client’s learning platform. To the best of our knowledge, adopting such digital learning material as supplementary or supporting learning material does not, on its own, require re-accreditation or a change to a provider’s registered delivery mode, where it is deployed within the provider’s existing accreditation as learning support material and does not replace any delivery mode, practical, workplace or assessment component that the provider’s accreditation, curriculum document or funding agreements require to be delivered in a particular way.

Adopting digital material in this way enhances or supplements the provider’s existing accredited delivery; it does not replace it. It does not entitle a provider to switch a programme from a non-digital delivery mode (for example, face-to-face or contact delivery) to fully online or fully digital delivery. As we understand the QCTO framework, a provider’s delivery mode is declared on its accreditation (for example, in the delivery strategy or implementation plan and supporting evidence such as Form 5), and moving to blended or online delivery is a separate mode for which a provider must be specifically accredited, supported by the required evidence (such as a learning management system, learner support systems and, where applicable, alignment with the QCTO’s e-learning quality standards). Where a provider is not accredited for blended or online delivery, our content may be used only to supplement that provider’s current, accredited delivery, and not to deliver a programme fully digitally.

The same boundary applies to assessment. Any quizzes or assessment activities we produce are formative only (for learning, engagement and readiness) and do not constitute or replace summative assessment or the External Integrated Summative Assessment (EISA). As we understand the QCTO framework, summative assessment and the EISA remain the responsibility of the provider’s registered assessors and accredited assessment centres, and must be conducted as the provider’s accreditation and the applicable QCTO assessment requirements prescribe.

Our understanding is informed by, among others, the QCTO Accreditation Policy for skills development providers and its learning-material requirements, the QCTO’s e-learning quality standards for occupational qualifications, and the QCTO’s e-assessment requirements. These are referenced for general context only, may be updated by the QCTO from time to time, and the client is responsible for checking the current requirements that apply to it. The QCTO accredits providers, not products; nothing in our service is, or is represented to be, a “QCTO-approved” or “QCTO-endorsed” product.

This is a general statement of our understanding and is not legal, regulatory or accreditation advice. It remains the client’s sole responsibility to ensure that the deployment and use of any content, and their delivery mode, is and remains compliant with all applicable requirements, including those of the QCTO, relevant SETAs, ETQAs, accreditation bodies, and any Memoranda of Agreement, Service Level Agreements or funding conditions that apply to the client. The client is responsible for confirming their registered delivery mode and scope, and for making any declarations or submissions required.

TVMG accepts no risk, liability or responsibility for the client’s regulatory or accreditation compliance, or for any finding, audit outcome, moderation result, funding decision or accreditation consequence arising from the client’s deployment or use of the content. Where TVMG assists by drafting a learning-material matrix entry or similar documentation, that assistance is provided as a convenience only and does not transfer any compliance obligation or risk to TVMG.

6. Production technology

TVMG makes use of advanced artificial intelligence tools to deliver the content, so that the voice can be tailored to your liking and produced in an accent of your choice.

7. Languages

For any language other than English or Afrikaans, it is the client's responsibility to have a fluent or native speaker review and approve the language version before final acceptance. TVMG is not liable for language nuance or accuracy errors in any version the client has not had reviewed.

8. Revisions

Three (3) revision rounds are included with every standalone video. Additional revision rounds are charged at R3,000 per round thereafter. A revision means changes to supplied content or narration. It does not include re-scoping the video (for example, changing the topic, length tier, or structure of the project), which is quoted separately. Revisions on The Digital Campus are governed instead by clause 4 (unlimited within the agreed scope, to assessor sign-off).

9. Turnaround

Stated turnaround windows are estimates and begin once the brief and payment are received. Urgent delivery ahead of the standard window can be accommodated and is quoted as a premium.

10. Payment & refund

Standalone videos (the Compliance Video Sprint)

Standalone videos are payable 100% upfront before production begins. A 7-day satisfaction guarantee applies: if, after the three (3) included revision rounds, the client is genuinely unhappy with the final video, they may request a full refund within 7 days of final delivery. This is a satisfaction (quality) guarantee, not a change-of-mind or "no longer needed" refund.

The Digital Campus

The Digital Campus is billed per module batch. A 70% deposit for a batch is payable before any work on that batch begins; the 30% balance is payable on delivery of that batch. Within each batch, TVMG first writes the module scripts from the client's supplied material and submits them to the client for review. TVMG does not proceed to production (animation, narration and build) of a module until the client's registered moderator or assessor has signed off that module's script, and TVMG revises scripts within the agreed scope until that sign-off is given. The 30% balance for a batch falls due only once the modules in that batch have been produced and delivered, so the client never pays the balance for work that has not been produced and delivered. Enterprise and government engagements may instead be billed by milestone schedule as set out in the applicable contract. The 7-day standalone refund does not apply to The Digital Campus, which is phased and gated on the client's own script sign-off as set out above.

Retainers

Retainers are billed monthly in advance.

In all cases, the final deliverable is released only on full payment.

11. Ownership

On full payment, the client owns the final delivered content for their use. TVMG retains all rights to its production methods, templates, and house style, which remain the property of TVMG and may be reused across other projects.

12. Acceptance

By enquiring or placing an order, the client accepts these Terms & Conditions.
